The world of the supernatural is exposed and darkness has gripped the earth. All of creation is crying out for its Creator as Demetrius Strapollos tightens his reign of terror. Re: "On the edge of time". Wow, it's like you are there, living it...seems very accurate according to the bible. What an awful time the Tribulation is going to be, yet even worse than the author wrote, for the bible says: No man can imagine how bad. I love reading those kind of books, it keeps me on my toes and " ready" state of mind, which we all need these days...but the Lord is merciful and all who believe in him, will be saved.This author: Russell Scalzo is the best of all I have read, and he shows the scriptures to go along with it. I certainly recommend this book, this is the 2nd one, I read the first one and it is done in the same fashion, with scriptures much better than the "Left behind series" this is very detailed, leaves nothing to your imagination.

Fast past thriller based on the pre-millennial view of the book of Revelation and dispensational theology. This is not my view, but it is so compelling that I'm going re-reading Revelation because of it. Very scary Anti-christ .Even better than Part One! Iwant to read more by these authors.
Once again, I must say that I loved the book, but deducted one star for the editing. It's really frustrating, when you're totally engrossed in the story, to have your concentration broken by stupid little editing mistakes. Misspellings, wrong word usage, etc. it's getting so that you can't read an ebook without them. I don't know why that is.
To the authors I honestly loved these two books, but is it really that difficult to find a good editor or proofreader? I'm available, if needed ;-)
Wonderfully written, kept my attention so well I didn't want to put it down, even at bed time. It was extremely close to biblical accounts. Well done!
Although there are some mistakes that appear to be from relying on auto correct and the wrong word was then substituted, the story itself more than makes up for the errors. This version of the end times is the most realistic I've read. The timing of the events and the way the armies fought is more believable than the versions that seem to make all of the conflict in Israel happen overnight. The way relationships grow so deeply and quickly can be attributed to the times in which they are living in. I really liked the way scripture was used throughout the book so that the message that Jesus was and is the Messiah comes through loud and clear. You really should read the two books in order.
I have read both book one and two of this series and enjoyed them both. I love when I get books that have meat to them. I love books that have Bible themes and this had both. I enjoy reading, and like books that are long so you can get a greater sense of the characters and what is going on around them. I admit I like end time novels because I know who wins in the end, I've read the Good Book many times, and know our LORD will be victor in the fight against all evil. Pick up the two books and enjoy the ride
I loved this "end times" book! I read volume one first and couldn't wait to get this one to read. It was inevitable that I would compare them to the "Left Behind" series. In many ways I actually preferred these books. Part of that may have been that there were only 2 of these rather than a dozen of those.
Plus, the plot line stayed way more plausible IMHO. If you are reading these books, I think it would be likely that you are a believer - if you are, I thought that this series stayed closer to the scriptures. Don't misunderstand me, I liked the Left Behind books too! But, I preferred these in several ways.
I would read other books by these authors, especially if they had religious storylines like this one (and volume 1) had.
These two volumes about the End Times are superb! They are scripturally based and the characters are most believable....so much so that it gives one chills to read it! The authors' interpretation of how the Bibical account in Revelations will be played out is creative, These books are not for the "faint of heart". They are a call to "be prepared".
I would have given this a five star rating except for the fact that they are extremely poorly edited. Especially towards the end of volume 2 the editing is very very sloppy. I wish I could have gone through both volumes and corrected all of the errors in sentence structure, etc. and had the book reprinted!! I don't understand how authors this good could let a book go out in this condition.
In spite of that, this is a wonderful read and well worth the time it takes to get through both volumes.
